This book is designed to meet the students’ need about easiest material of English Extensive Reading for university students of Berau. In addition, the author has carried out the needs analysis process to clearly see the conditions about the availability of extensive reading books that are suitable with the conditions of the students from the perspective of culture and local wisdom. In fact, most of the story books in the market are from abroad so that it makes the students difficult in comprehending it. Besides, some of Indonesian folklore story books are from other areas outside East Kalimantan. Those are what motivate the authors to compile this English extensive reading book by using folklore of Berau Regency, East Kalimantan to introduce students with customs and cultures from their origins. This book consists of four topics and is equipped with exercises so that students are able to understand the whole story and also able to measure their learning abilities.
